Kline tapped for new media at Fox

20th Century Fox has appointed Adam Kline vp new-media enterprises, where he will oversee Fox's portfolio of video game projects based on its library of titles and develop new revenue streams in e-commerce.

Fox has games in development like "The Simpsons Game," which Electronic Arts is developing for release in the fall, and a new "Alien" game, which Sega is working on for 2009.

In the past, 2K Games has made a "24" game and a "Family Guy" game, and there have been several popular games based on the "Aliens vs. Predator" franchise. Although there have been numerous "Die Hard" games, there was no new game to usher in "Live Free or Die Hard" this week.

Before joining Fox L&M, Kline served as vp business development at Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers. Most recently, he set up his own company, ADK Media Group, where he consulted with top-name clients such as EA Mobile, Lions Gate Entertainment and Massive Inc. Before entering the interactive world, Kline was an independent TV and Film producer with his own company, Adam Kline Prods.
