'Knick' Actor Eric Johnson Joins 'Fifty Shades Darker'
The actor will take on the role of Jack Hyde, the rival of Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey.
Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey will meet his match in Eric Johnson.
The Knick star will be playing Jack Hyde, grey's rival and Anastasia Steel's (Dakota Johnson) boss, in the next installment in the E.L. James franchise, Fifty Shades Darker.
Johnson will be joined by fellow Fifty Shades newcomers Kim Basinger and Bella Heathcoate.
Universal will shoot Darker and the next film in the franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, back-to-back.
James Foley will direct the next two films, which he will write with Niall Leonard. Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti, James and Marcus Viscid are producing.
Fifty Shades Darker is set to hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
