“People couldn’t believe we chose to do the cover of Playboy,” Kris (at home) says of Kim’s December 2007 issue. “I thought it was a great business decision; it was something to be proud of. It became controversial, which then made it more iconic. I was like, bring it on!”

The duo behind the Kardashian reality franchise spoke on Seacrest's radio show about Kim's intentions in her Minnesota trip and Rob's chances of winning "Dancing With the Stars."

A week into her media tour for her new book, and her daughter's divorce announcement, Kris Jenner sat in during Tuesday's episode of Live With Ryan Seacreast.

"I know as much as you do," she told Seacrest.  "I went to bed kind of early, and when I woke up the next morning she was gone. She left a note."

Jenner says that Kim did meet with the pastor who married her, she doesn't believe it had anything to do with averting divorce. "I'm not sure," she said. "I really don't think so."

The two made no mention of rumors circulating that E! was going to sideline the upcoming season of Kim and Kourtney take New York, but Kris did take a moment to discuss one of her other children.

She says she's seen a lot of progress from son Rob Kardashian, who makes finds out Tuesday night if he'll go on to the semifinals on Dancing With the Stars.

"No matter what happens from this point on, I think he's really grown up on this show," she said. "He's been able to set himself apart from his sisters. There's a lot more to that show than we see on the air, and anyone who does it I have respect for."
