Kristen Stewart, Jessica Chastain to Add Style Sizzle to the 12-12-12 Sandy Fundraiser

The fashion world's favorite actresses are the latest stars to sign up for the event at Madison Square Garden, where Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Kanye West will perform


Kristen Stewart and Jessica Chastain, along with supermodel Karlie Kloss, will add a fashion element to the upcoming 12-12-12 Sandy Madison Square Garden. These red-carpet and runway darlings will help raise money for the victims of the devastating storm that laid waste to the Northeast, where an estimated 600,000 homes were damaged or destroyed.

So far, the stellar list already includes Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, Seth Meyers, Adam Sandler, Jon Stewart, Jake Gyllenhaal, Leonardo DiCaprio, Susan Sarandon, Sean Combs and Quentin Tarantino

Musicians Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Who, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, Eddie Vedder and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd will participate. So will Alicia Keys and Kanye West.

The event will raise money for the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which provides aid and resources to other charities and organizations across the tri-state area providing relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.

The 12.12.12 concert was organized by the Weinstein Co., the Madison Square Garden Co. and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. The concert event will be broadcast live on several channels in the US and to billions all over the world. The concert starts at  7:30 p.m. EST on Dec. 12.

But for those in the area who can't watch TV, there will be several theaters where people can enjoy it on the big screen for free.

Event producers James Dolan, John Sykes and Harvey Weinstein said in a joint statement: "The live simulcast of this historic benefit concert in movie theatres will provide a welcome opportunity for those people still recovering from the devastation to have an enjoyable and much-needed night out. Seeing this incredible all-star lineup on the big screen and hearing it in surround sound will certainly make for a memorable evening."
