The pregnancy mystery has been solved.

Kylie Jenner is a mother.

Jenner delivered a baby girl on Thursday, according to the reality star. The news comes after months of speculation that the youngest of Kris Jenner's daughters was pregnant with boyfriend Travis Scott's baby. No member of the family had publicly confirmed or denied the pregnancy, and Kylie herself remained hidden from the public eye for most of the past six months.

In announcing the birth, Jenner also explained her decision to keep the pregnancy undisclosed. "I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," she wrote in a statement posted to her Twitter account. "I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free and healthy way I knew how."

Jenner also added that "there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned" and ended her statement by confirming the birth of her daughter, although she provided no other details.

At just 20 years old, Jenner built a multimillion-dollar beauty empire first by selling lip kits and later branching out into eyeshadow and face palettes after fans became obsessed with mimicking her thoroughly documented makeup routine. But while she maintained her near-constant activity on social media, she managed to keep her growing baby bump under wraps.

Older sister Khloe Kardashian, 33, is also pregnant. She is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson in late March; Kim Kardashian, too, recently welcomed her third child with husband Kanye West via a surrogate in January.
