L.A. Film Fest debuts new program

Festival After Dark features DJs nightly

The current Los Angeles Film Festival is introducing a new program this year called "festival After Dark," featuring local DJs spinning music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. nightly at the Target Red Room, 1027 Westwood Blvd.

Open to festival pass holders, the nightly lineup will feature deejays who include C-Town, Frankie Chan, Wendy City, Shepard Fairey, Myles Hendrik, Mia Moretti, NOMSG, Daisy O, Dan Oh, Pube$, Rockwell, Royal Rumble, Skeet Skeet, Gina Turner, and Valida.

"This was a personal project that I had been developing over the past year to incorporate the very best in L.A. nightlife with a high profile, local film festival," After Dark producer Warren Michael Bruttell said.

The Target Red Room is sponsored by Target, which is also the grantor of the Target Filmmaker Awards, which will be presented this year by "Hellboy II" director Guillermo del Toro on the fest's closing night, June 29.
