L.A. introduces Larry King Square

Intersection to be named after talk show host

CNN talkmeister Larry King will be enshrined by the City of Los Angeles on Thursday with a "Larry King Square" at the intersection of Sunset and Cahuenga boulevards.

King is being given the honor by Eric Garcetti, president of the Los Angeles City Council, at a ceremony Thursday. The CNN show originates from the CNN Los Angeles bureau, which is located at that intersection.

King will also be there, along with CNN Worldwide President Jim Walton and CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein.
