Lady Gaga Debuts Fashion Film (Video)
The clip for “You and I” was shot by Dutch fashion photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
There are no outlandish costumes, 10-inch heels or appearances by Lady Gaga’s alter ego Jo Calderone in the “fashion film” clip that the music idol released on Friday.
A dressed-down Gaga is featured in the first of five fashion films for the song “You and I,” shot by Dutch fashion photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The two-minute video, titled “Haus of Ü Featuring Nymph,” shows Gaga performing ballet-esque moves, and throwing her hair around in slow motion. It's one of the most natural looking versions of Gaga that fans have ever seen.
The video comes on the heels of Gaga’s criticisms of New York Times' Cathy Horyn and fashion critics in general for being negative dinosaurs of the fashion industry. “It’s so easy to say something is bad,” she wrote in her column in V Magazine. “In the age of the Internet, when collections and performances are so accessible to the public and anyone can post a review on Facebook or Twitter, shouldn’t columnists and reviewers, such as Cathy Horyn, employ a more modern and forward approach to criticism, one that separates them from the average individual at home on their laptop?”
