"I guess Lady Gaga is a much better choice for the Super Bowl halftime than Coldplay ..."
Following much speculation, Lady Gaga and the NFL confirmed on Thursday that she will be headlining Fox's Super Bowl LI halftime show.
This will be her second time performing at the Super Bowl. The "Perfect Illusion" singer sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 last February.
Gaga announced the news on Twitter:
It's not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA! @nfl @FOXTV @pepsi #PERFECTILLUSION #GAGASUPERBOWL pic.twitter.com/qR4O57451G

The Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI halftime show will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston and airs on Fox on Feb. 5, 2017.
Twitter users had mixed reactions to the news, with some fans excited to see her performance and others ready for something a bit different at the show. See some of the tweets below.
Kind of want to go to Super Bowl this year just for #GAGASUPERBOWL.
