"For a really long time I felt so misunderstood about the way I dressed, the way I talked, my attitude," she told the crowd before playing the 'A Star Is Born' soundtrack hit.

As noted in Billboard's review of the show, one of the most touching moments of Lady Gaga's opening Enigma show in Las Vegas on Friday night came when the singer performed "Shallow" live for the very first time.

"For a really long time I felt so misunderstood about the way I dressed, the way I talked, my attitude," she told the crowd before playing the A Star Is Born soundtrack hit. “They thought it was shallow. I’m so proud to be this far, but the truth is, you gave birth to me.”

Gaga also covered David Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans" during the concert.
