Now we know how the pop icon can wear all those wild, half-covered outfits -- she works it!

Some think of Lady Gaga as a party monster, but Mother Monster is actually a lot more work than play. She spent her 26th birthday on Thursday in a private class at SoulCycle in West Hollywood with her friends, which is a lot healthier than cake and champagne!

As for the tunes Gaga asked instructor Janet Fitzgerald to play, the pop superstar requested Bruce Springsteen's "Thunder Road" off his 1975 album Born to Run. The choice was a surprising one as Gaga was not even born yet when the song originally came out.
