The rising Brit is also appearing in 'Outlaw King,' 'Fighting With my Family,' and 'Little Drummer Girl.'

Florence Pugh, the British breakout star of last year's indie hit Lady Macbeth, is set to play the female lead in an upcoming project by Hereditary director Ari Aster, which A24 is once again producing.

The untitled horror movie — currently filming — also stars Jack Reynor and Will Poulter.

The actress revealed the news during the TCA presentation of her new BBC miniseries The Little Drummer Girl, being produced by The Ink Factory, which was behind The Night Manager, and later confirmed it on Twitter.

"What a role this will be ... god I am pumped/nervous/can't believe this is happening," she said.

Since her acclaimed starring role in Lady Macbeth, Pugh has become one of the U.K.'s hottest names, earning a BAFTA rising star nomination and landing lead roles in Netflix's upcoming The Outlaw King, wrestling comedy Fighting With My Family—being directed by Stephen Merchant and co-starring Dwayne Johnson—and the BBC's recent acclaimed adaptation of King Lear, on top of spy drama The Little Drummer Girl, directed by Park Chan-Wook and also starring Alexander Skarsgard and Michael Shannon.

Pugh is repped by WME, Julian Belfrage Associates in the U.K., and attorney Greg Slewett.
