LAPD Arrests Armed Suspect Who Broke Into Home Believed to Be Owned by Spike Jonze

Los Angeles police and SWAT arrested a man Tuesday morning after a standoff that began when the suspect allegedly broke into a home believed to be owned by director and actor Spike Jonze. 

Police responded to the call of the break-in and barricade around 6 a.m., which was in the 4000 block of Farmouth Drive in Los Feliz, LAPD told The Hollywood Reporter.

The homeowners called police when the armed man broke in, police said.

Authorities do not identify victims, but according to local news footage, the home appears to belong to Jonze. 

The suspect was taken into custody without incident before 11 a.m., police said.

There were no reported injuries.

A rep for Jonze could not immediately be reached for comment.
