New shingle Good Company is looking for the next Scandinavian hit like "The Killing" or "The Bridge"

The producers behind The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Lars von Trier's Oscar-nominated Dancer in the Dark have joined forces to create a new Northern production powerhouse, Good Company.

The principals will be Anni Fernandez and Ole Sondberg from Sweden's Yellow Bird — creators of the original Swedish The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo — Vibeke Windelov, who produced von Trier's Dancer in the Dark and Dogville, and Stinna Lassen, a producer on new pan-European crime series The Team.

Based in Copenhagen, Good Company is looking to produce Scandinavian films and series with international crossover and remake appeal, in the manner of The Killing and The Bridge.

New projects include a fantasy series based on the best-selling novels by Lene Kaaberbol (The Shamer's Daughter).
