Sherry Lansing and Roger Corman also will be featured in the seventh season of the series, which once again will be moderated by The Hollywood Reporter's Stephen Galloway.

Empire creator Lee Daniels, actress Jessica Chastain and director Zhang Yimou are set to take part in the seventh installment of the Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television's interview series The Hollywood Masters, which again will be moderated by The Hollywood Reporter's Stephen Galloway.

Roger Corman, who has produced more than 400 films, including Death Race 2000 and Little Shop of Horrors, and Sherry Lansing, the former chairman of Paramount Pictures and producer of Fatal Attraction, also will take part in the series this season.

Lansing also is the subject of Galloway’s new biography, Leading Lady, due out April 25. This will be their first public interview in connection with the book.

"As SFTV nurtures and develops new talent and storytellers, it's important that we provide our students with all perspectives of the industry," said Stephen Ujlaki, dean of the School of Film and Television. "The Hollywood Masters has been an invaluable program in achieving this goal, and this semester’s slate of guests will offer a range of career insight."

The series is filmed by LMU students and alumni before a live student audience on the university's campus (it is open only to LMU students, faculty and alumni). Each of the 90-minute interviews will be shown exclusively on THR.com

The season kicks off Feb. 17 with Zhang, director of the upcoming Matt Damon film The Great Wall.

Said Galloway, THR's executive features editor: "In putting together this season of interviews, I've aimed to give viewers a map of the best of world filmmaking. They don't get better than this — from Zhang Yimou (one of my all-time favorite directors) to Sherry Lansing (one of my all-time favorite people) to a living legend (Corman) to two of the most brilliant talents in American film and TV today (Daniels and Chastain)."

The series was launched in February 2014. Over the years, it has featured talent including Hans Zimmer, Hilary Swank, Billy Bob Thornton, David O. Russell, Judd Apatow, Jane Fonda, Michael Caine, Gale Anne Hurd, Alfonso Cuarón, Ethan Hawke, Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, Kenneth Branagh and Clint Eastwood.
