The company's television and digital arm has struck a first-look deal with Tomas Harlan and Tim Carter's Contradiction Films to adapt their portfolio of video game franchises into projects for TV and digital platforms.

Contradiction has previously worked with Legendary on a number of projects. Harlan and Carter produced Dead Rising: Watchtower, an adaptation of the popular Capcom zombie thriller written by Carter for Sony's Crackle, alongside Legendary. They also just wrapped on Legendary Digital Media's upcoming reboot of Sid and Marty Kroft's Electra Woman and Dyna Girl starring YouTube creators Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart

Contradiction also produced Mortal Kombat adaptation Mortal Kombat: Legacy for Warner Bros., which streamed online via Machinima.

Legendary TV, which launched in 2013, currently has two projects in pre-production: Colony, a co-production with Universal Cable Productions recently picked up to series by USA Network, and Love, a Netflix original series from Judd Apatow, Paul Rust and Lesley Arfin. They also recently announced Carnival Row, a project from Guillermo del Toro and Rene Echevarria for Amazon.
