Lena Dunham Reveals a New Pixie Do
The 'Girls' star and best-selling author debuted her freshly chopped locks on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers.'
Is there a hair look Lena Dunham can’t pull off? We think not. After recent months, the Girls creator-star stepped out on Wednesday night with her latest daring do — a pixie cut in her natural brunette — which she revealed during her appearance on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers.
"I’m premiering it right here on this show," announced Dunham, who was spotted earlier in the day sporting a bob before appearing on Meyer's show to discuss the season four finale of HBO’s Girls this Sunday, as well as her guest appearance on ABC’s Scandal.
And on Thursday, Dunham took to social media to express her happiness with her new, closely cropped look.
Posting a fresh-faced selfie on Instagram, Dunham gave a shout-out to New York-based stylist Rheanne White, who created Dunham’s new style (and, alongside colorist Tanner Bassett, was also responsible for giving Dunham her ultramod platinum look last fall). Wrote Dunham: "Zero prep required with my new 'do by my hair’s soulmate @rheannewhite."
