THR talks to host Wayne Brady about 'Let's Make a Deal's' special episode.

Over 50 years ago, when Monty Hall hosted Let's Make a Deal, he may have melted if current host Wayne Brady told him of a "snowman living room" in July.

Yes, that's right. Christmas in July. For the first time ever, the show will host its "Christmas in July" special. The special features too-many-to-count Santa Clause hats, a lot of red ribbons, and although Brady isn't dressed up as Olaf or Elsa from Frozen this year, fans may see him make a costume change sometime soon.

Here, the host spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the show's special episode — and when he will be dressing up.

Will the prizes be Christma- themed? Maybe a trip to the North Pole?

Most of the prizes on the show fit more in line with the "summer" theme. Trip to Niagara Falls, scooters, outdoor movie theater, etc. However, we do have a winter-themed Zonk — a snowman living room.

Over the years, what has been the craziest costume you’ve seen? Most original?

A pair of traders dressed up as “Rockem’ Sockem’ Robots.”  The costumes were quite large and very detailed. We had them “fight” on stage during the show.

What has been your favorite moment from hosting the show?

Some highlights of the past year include Jonathan and I switching pants in the middle of the episode (Jonathan randomly suggested it) and a yoga session with a contestant that turned into a twerk off!

What do you think the biggest difference is from Let’s Make a Deal and other game shows?

LMAD isn’t your traditional game show. It’s part game show, part variety-comedy-improv show. It’s what sets us apart from other shows. You never know what is going to happen and every day is different from top to bottom.

Is there any prize or zonk that hasn’t been on the show that you would like to feature?

My favorite zonks are usually the ones I can interact with (Dragon Car, Helicopter Car, Jumbo Couch, etc.)

What costume would you wear if you were a contestant?

Later this season we’re doing an episode called “Nerds Rule.”  You might see me dressed in costume for that episode, but you’ll have to tune in this January to find out what it is!

Let's Make a Deal's special episode airs Monday, July 13 at 9 a.m. on CBS.
