Lewis, McCormack Pope lead 'Textuality'

Canadian project is screenwriting debut of Liam Card Marc Rigaux

TORONTO – Jason Lewis, Eric McCormack and Carly Pope are top-lining "Textuality" from indie producer Strident Films as the Canadian indie film shoots in Toronto through December.

The romantic comedy by director Warren Sonoda features Lewis and Pope as two people trying to leave a host of high-tech hook-ups they manage through their Blackberries so they begin their own romance.

The Canadian project marks the feature film screenwriting debut of writer/actor Liam Card and producer Marc Rigaux, both with Strident Films.

Michael Baker is executive producing.

Seville Pictures will release "Textuality" in Canada.
