Director Kevin Macdonald was not able to attend the conference for the highly anticipated documentary.

The Panorama section has cancelled today’s planned press conference for the hotly anticipated documentary Life in a Day after co-director Kevin Macdonald was unable to attend. A spokeswoman for Panorama said the decision to cancel the press conference was made late Thursday but did not give further details.
HanWay Films, which are selling the project, have quickly arranged an impromptu press junket from 3.30 on the 3rd floor of the Berlinale Palast with the film’s other director, Joe Walker, and several of the people featured on screen. Produced by Ridley and Tony Scott’s Scott Free Productions and YouTube, Life In a Day uses footage from directors all over the world to give a snapshot of life on July 24, 2010.
