Lifetime picks up 'Fairy Jobmother' series

Orders eight episodes and show will debut Oct. 28

Lifetime has picked up a reality show where a career specialist helps unemployed families find work.

Titled "The Fairy Jobmother," the network has picked up eight episodes of the format, which is based on a U.K. series.

Job expert Hayley Taylor will provide a tough-love approach that helps families figure out why they're unemployed and get back on the road to recovery.

Studio Lambert ("Undercover Boss") produces. The show will debut Oct. 28.
