CANNES -- International rights to Cannes market title "Don McKay" have been acquired by upstart Lighting Entertainment.

Jake Goldberger's drama, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last month, stars Thomas Haden Church and Elisabeth Shue as former lovers who reunite after a long absence but soon uncover a series of dark secrets.

Lightning also is selling Jonathan Hensleigh thriller "The Irishman" and Michael Keaton toplined "The Merry Gentleman" in the Cannes market.
