Marti Noxon’s feature directorial debut centers on a young woman’s battle with anorexia.

Kathryn Prescott (Finding Carter) is joining Lily Collins and Keanu Reeves in To the Bone, an anorexia drama based on TV writer/series creator Marti Noxon’s own experiences.

Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, UnREAL) is making her feature directorial debut with the indie pic, which centers on a young woman’s (Collins) battle with anorexia.

Prescott will play Anna, a recovering bulimic and star patient at the rehab facility where Collins’ character is being treated.

Julie Lynn and Bonnie Curtis of Mockingbird Pictures are producing To the Bone, along with Karina Miller, who is also financing through her company Sparkhouse Media. AMBI Distribution, the worldwide sales arm of the AMBI Group, is handling global sales and will introduce the project to buyers in Cannes.

British actress Prescott, who starred in MTV series Finding Carter and popular British TV series Skins, also is joining the cast of 24: Legacy in a recurring role. She recently wrapped work on indie feature Dude, opposite Lucy Hale. Prescott is repped by Gersh, Curtis Brown and Principal Entertainment LA.
