Proceeds from the 'Hamilton' and 'Dear Evan Hansen' mashup go to the anti-gun violence initiative.

The latest Hamildrops track is “Found/Tonight,” a collaboration between Ben Platt and Lin-Manuel Miranda which carries a powerful social message and raises money for a good cause.

Platt, the Grammy- and Tony-winning singer and actor, teased the collaboration which he described as a “gorgeous mashup” of Hamilton’s “The Story of Tonight” and “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen. He completed his Instagram caption with the hashtag #GunControlNow.

Miranda shared the link by saying, "Here's your March" and "For the kids."

Alex Lacamoire arranged the song, the proceeds from which go to the March For Our Lives initiative. "Even when the dark comes crashing through/When you need a friend to carry you/When you're broken on the ground/You will be found," Platt and Miranda sing.

"Found/Tonight” is the fourth release from the Hamildrops project, which also includes a Decemberists song about Ben Franklin and “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “The Hamilton Polka.”

The march, held in Washington, D.C. and other cities across the country, will take place on Saturday to protest gun violence and demand change in wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, where a gunman killed 17 people last month.

"Found/Tonight" dropped at midnight and can be streamed in full below.
