Lin-Manuel Miranda Teams With Prizeo for 'Hamilton' Experience to Benefit Planned Parenthood
The experience offers donors the chance to win a special 'Hamilton' package.
Lin-Manuel Miranda is teaming with Prizeo once again, but this time in support of Planned Parenthood.
The experience, which launched Tuesday, will offer donors the chance to win a special Hamilton package to see the Broadway phenomenon in a series of shows, including where it started in New York City, and in select cities as part of its national tour in both Chicago and San Francisco. Also as part of the package, the winner will get the chance for a meet-and-greet with the Hamilton cast and a backstage tour in each city.
For a $10 donation to Planned Parenthood, each donor will receive 100 entries in the contest. Tickets, airfare and lodging are included.
Miranda has partnered with Prizeo on several fundraisers throughout Hamilton's breakout run, but this marks the first for Planned Parenthood. His mother, Dr. Luz Towns-Miranda, serves on the organization's national board of directors of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the not-for-profit advocacy and nonpartisan political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
His previous Prizeo campaigns benefited the Hispanic Federation and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. He has since raised more than $2 million.
