The actress posted the news on Instagram with a hashtag: "#lindsaylohan2020."

Lindsay Lohan may be giving Kanye West a run for his presidency in 2020.

The actress posted a photo on Instagram early Friday evening with the caption, "In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits thank your for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama #kanyewest2020 #lindsaylohanat35 #lindsaylohan2020 with #34yearsofEXPERIENCE #unitingWORLDnations @aliforneycenter @savethesociety @unicef."

Shortly after her first post, she uploaded a photo of her and West, accompanied with the caption, "The first thing I would like to do as president of is take care of all of the children suffering in the world. #queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country."

Though it's uncertain if she seriously is considering a presidential run, Lohan's post comes nearly two months after West's announcement at the MTV VMAs saying he will run for president in 2020.

President Barack Obama gave the rapper some advice at an event on Oct. 10 in San Francisco about life in the Oval Office, telling him, "You got to deal with strange characters who behave as if they are on a reality TV show." Added the president, "Saying you have a beautiful dark twisted fantasy, that's what's known as off-message in politics."
