But a spokesman for the Kamofie & Company jewelry company says no deal is in place yet.

Lindsay Lohan is currently facing felony grand theft charges for stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, Calif. store, Kamofie & Company.

And there could soon be a book about it.

A rep for Kamofie & Company confirms he has spoken to an agent about a possible book deal.

But "we have no book deal pending," Christopher Spencer, who began representing Kamofie & Company soon after Lohan was charged with theft, tells CNN.

Spencer says he has "talked to a thousand people" while working for the jewelry store.
