Lionsgate Finds 'Satisfaction' With Canadian Sitcom

The CTV single camera comedy, now shooting in Toronto, stars "Playboy Club's" Leah Renee, Luke Macfarlane and Ryan Belleville.

VANCOUVER - Lionsgate has jumped on board the Canadian sitcom Satisfaction from Up All Night’s Tim McAuliffe and indie producer DHX Media.

Lionsgate will help DHX Media shop the single camera comedy internationally, excluding Canada.

The 13-parter, now shooting in Toronto, stars Leah Renee (Playboy Club), Luke Macfarlane and Ryan Belleville.

Produced for the CTV network, the Canadian chuckler portrays three friends who live together as they share relationship woes and wins.

Directors on the series include Jason Priestley, Mike Clattenburg and James Dunnison.

Executive producers on Satisfaction are Michael Donovan and series creator McAuliffe, with Steven DeNure, Tracey Jardine and Jim Corston producing.

McAuliffe wrote Satisfaction with Mark Critch, Jason Belleville, Tim Polley, Jenn Engels and Ryan Belleville.
