IDC’s upcoming release slate includes 'Robin Hood,' 'Chaos Walking' and 'The Kingkiller Chronicle.'

Lionsgate has renewed its multiyear Latin America movie output deal with IDC, led by president Pedro Rodriguez, as the Hollywood studio strengthens its global distribution network.

IDC will continue releasing Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment titles across 23 markets in Latin America, starting with Robin Hood, the next installment of the John Wick action franchise, Chaos Walking, The Kingkiller Chronicle, Life Itself and 47 Meters Down: The Next Chapter.

Lionsgate first inked a movie output deal with IDC in 2005, and its Latin American partner has generated around $1.3 billion at the regional box office during that period.

"Pedro Rodriguez and his IDC team have done a great job of mining the full potential of the Latin American box office,” said Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer in a statement.

"IDC is an essential part of our global distribution infrastructure, and they continue to create enormous value for our company," Feltheimer added.
