Lionsgate U.K. Names New Distribution President
Nicola Pearcey was previously the company’s head of home entertainment and new media.
Lionsgate U.K. has promoted Nicola Pearcey to the role of president of distribution, reporting to CEO Zygi Kamasa from the company’s European office in London.
Pearcey, who has worked at Lionsgate for nine years, was previously managing director of home entertainment and new media.
The move comes following Kamasa’s new long-term deal to continue as Lionsgate’s European chief, which saw him add new duties to his role in overseeing the mini-studio’s enlarged European office.
"Nicola has played a fundamental role in driving the U.K. business forward throughout her time at the company," Kamasa said on the appointment. "She brings a wealth of management and leadership experience to this new role, which will be a key ingredient of our continued growth."
