Lionsgate Re-Ups Motion Picture Group Head Patrick Wachsberger
The studio exec has renewed his long-term agreement ahead of Tuesday's annual shareholders meeting at the Toronto Film Festival.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group topper Patrick Wachsberger has renewed his long-term agreement with the studio, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Wachsberger will continue overseeing domestic and international feature film acquisition, production and distribution at the studio.
Terms of his new contract were not available, but news of the renewal comes days ahead of Lionsgate's annual shareholders meeting at the Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday.
Wachsberger came to Lionsgate five years ago when Summit Entertainment was acquired. He served initially as co-chairman of the Motion Picture Group with Rob Friedman, who left Lionsgate a year ago.
