Lippin Group hires former Disney publicist

Elizabeth Wolfe joins as vp; company adds two more

The Lippin Group has hired former longtime Disney publicist Elizabeth Wolfe as a vice president based in Los Angeles and added two other vice presidents in its New York office.

Wolf most recently was svp worldwide publicity for Nu Image/Millennium Films, heading up corporate communications and playing a role in their theatrical publicity campaigns. During her 12 years at Disney, she was involved in publicity campaigns for a number of movies including "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Pearl Harbor," "Toy Story" and "Lion King." Prior to Disney, Wolfe worked for 20th Century Fox.

Agency CEO Dick Lippin also announced the promotion of Erika Lewis to vp from senior account executive based in New York. She has worked on campaigns for a number of Wolf Films shows, among others, including "Law & Order."

Deborah Engel also rejoins the agency as a vp based in New York. She was most recently senior manager, communications, at Nickelodeon working on such shows as "Dora the Explorer" and "Yo Gabba Gabba."

The Lippin Group earlier this year ended a long relationship as publicist for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and since has moved into new areas. "At a time when our industry is still experiencing economic aftershocks, we are fortunate that our business continues to grow," said Lippin.

The agency also promoted Leela Veeravalli to account executive and Adeline Tihan as assistant account executive.
