Grammys: Little Big Town Performs "Girl Crush"

Country band Little Big Town performed a stripped-down version of their "Girl Crush" single at the 58th annual Grammy Awards on Monday evening.
The four-member group — Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet — commanded the circular awards stage as they sang to the melody of a string band, including violins, violas, cellos and a bass. Each donned all-black attire as they sang their Grammy-nominated country song.
In early 2015, the band faced controversy over their single when country radio stations pulled it from airwaves following complaints from listeners complaining that it had a "gay agenda." Lyrics for the song include, "I want to taste her lips, yeah cause they taste like you / I want to drown myself in a bottle of her perfume / I want her long blond hair, I want her magic touch / Yeah cause maybe then, you’d want me just as much ... I got a girl crush."
The band took home best country song and best country duo/group performance honors for "Girl Crush" and was in contention for two other awards at this year's Grammys: song of the year ("Girl Crush") and best country album (Pain Killer).
