With Betty White's nomination this year for "Saturday Night Live," a "Mary Tyler Moore Show" cast member has been nominated for an Emmy in 34 of the past 40 years. The only years not represented are 1983, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2000 and 2008.

If Larry David scores an Emmy for lead comedy actor for "Curb Your Enthusiasm," he will be the first to win for playing himself since Jack Benny in 1959.

With her nom in the guest actress drama category, Elizabeth Mitchell is the first (and only) female cast member from "Lost" to get some Emmy love.

"The Good Wife" is the first drama series nominee for CBS since "Joan of Arcadia" in 2004.

With 12 nominations this year, "Saturday Night Live" is now the most-nominated series in Emmy history with 126. That breaks the previous mark of 124 held by "ER."

The Emmys also have a new all-time leader in individual nominations. Camera operator Hector Ramirez is nominated as part of the technical direction team for four different programs, bringing his career total to 60.

TV Academy chairman John Shaffner also is a nominee. He scored art direction noms for his work on "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien."
