Live From Cannes: Kate Moss Makes Red-Carpet Return, 'Loving' Gets 5-Minute Standing Ovation
For the first time in 15 years, the supermodel returned to the celeb-filled carpet for the premiere of Jeff Nichols' 'Loving,' which received the most applause for an American film (so far) from the fest's audiences.
Kate Moss is heating up the Cannes red carpet.
For the first time in 15 years, the international supermodel made her return to the French fest's press carpet donning a floor-length, one-shoulder, vintage gown for the premiere of Jeff Nichols' Loving.
Inside the theater, the director's civil rights drama received the longest standing ovation for an American film (so far) — audiences applauded for nearly five minutes — for Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga's starring performances.
Negga told The Hollywood Reporter of the emotional moment: "I was weeping the whole way through the film."
