Watch Live: Donald Trump Sworn In at Inauguration Ceremony

The former reality TV star was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts at noon ET.

Today, Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States. 

At the Capitol Building, with his supporters watching and protesters gearing up for demonstrations, the former reality TV star and real estate mogul was sworn in at noon ET. Opening remarks began at 11:30 am ET.

Trump was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Earlier, Justice Clarence Thomas swore in Vice President Mike Pence.

An inaugural parade, featuring numerous local and military bands, then took place from the Capitol Building to the White House. 

Later on Friday evening, the incoming administration will host official three inaugural balls at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The galas are titled "Freedom," "Liberty" and "Salute To Our Armed Services" and will be produced with the theme of the president's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again."
