Livingtv names Barham acquisitions boss

LONDON -- Amy Barham has been promoted to head of acquisitions for Livingtv, Livingtv2 and Ftn with immediate effect, Livingtv announced Thursday.

Barham, who as senior acquisitions executive was responsible for sourcing shows like "Grey's Anatomy," "Boston Legal" and "Close to Home," will report to Flextech director of programming Claudia Rosencrantz.

She replaces Louise Benham, who has been promoted to channel controller for Flextech's Bravo, Trouble and Challenge channels.

"Amy is incredibly talented and passionate about the international marketplace, and the U.S. in particular," Rosencrantz said. "Her judgment and determination have been an integral part of Livingtv's success over the past few years, earning her much respect amongst her counterparts and colleagues, and I am thrilled she is leading the way for acquisitions in the future."
