The modern-day "Pride and Prejudice" retelling, which began as a YouTube series, will be sold through online platforms starting June 23.

Popular web series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries is getting the royal treatment.

Starz Digital Media, the digital and on-demand licensing and content syndication arm of Starz, is bringing Lizzie Bennet Diaries in a repackaged form for purchase on various platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Nook, CinemaNow, Vudu and Google Play beginning June 23.

In addition to the web series, which will be presented in 15-minute cuts — a combination of four to six installments — Starz Digital Media will provide an hour of unseen content, such as blooper reels and a "making of" segment for those who purchase the entire season.

The announcement is timed to Simon & Schuster's adaptation, The Secret Diary of Lizzie, which hits traditional and online retailers June 24.

"We are ideally suited as the Starz Digital team to be the ones to help this content get to the platforms where we have great relationships and great marketing, where we're pitching and working with other partners to get other series promoted," David Katz, vp digital at Starz Digital Media, tells The Hollywood Reporter.

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, the Emmy-winning series created by Bernie Su and Hank Green, has attracted more than 60 million views since it first debuted on YouTube and boasts more than 249,000 channel subscribers. A modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, the series is told in vlog style by Lizzie Bennet (Ashley Clements) as she narrates her life. Digital production company Pemberley Digital is behind the series, which produced more than 150 episodes (roughly 9.5 hours) during its run.

In March 2013, the creators set up a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of DVD sets, easily matching their $60,000 goal. They raised more than $462,000.

Earlier this week, Starz Digital Media launched the first two seasons of Pemberley's Emma Approved, a modern-day retelling of Emma. The third season is available in a "day after" agreement following its YouTube premiere.
