Logo Launches New Video App

The season-six premiere of "RuPaul's Drag Race" will be available Feb. 17, one week before it hits TV.

Logo TV has launched its first video app.

Starting Jan. 30, users can download the LogoTV app, with access to its programs and a library of LGBT-focused films.

The Viacom-owned network, which features shows highlighting the LGBT community, will also make the sixth-season premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race available Feb. 17 (without the elimination portion), one week before the competition series debuts on television.

"With the launch of the LogoTV app, we're providing fans with another way to enjoy our shows and characters, while opening a rich library of content, including free movies and documentaries, as well as inspiring and informative LGBT resources," said Marc Leonard, senior vp programming and platform strategy for Logo TV.

The film library contains titles such as Children of God, Were the World Mine, I Love You Phillip Morris, Latter Days, Dorian Blues and Noah's Arc: The Movie. New titles will be added on a regular basis.

Full seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, The A-List: New York, Noah's Arc and WHAT!? Logo Documentaries are also available for viewing, while 21 1/2 Moments That Made Us Gag, which counts down the most shocking moments from RuPaul's Drag Race and All-Stars, will debut on the app.

The Logo TV app is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
