Logo picks up OUTtv's 'Chris & John'

Canadian reality series follows two friends' good deeds

TORONTO -- MTV Networks' Logo channel has acquired the Canadian gay-themed reality series "Chris & John to the Rescue!" from Canada's OUTtv.

Logo picked up three seasons of the camp series, which bowed on OUTtv in 2006 and features best friends John Simpson and Chris Carter as they provide aid to people in need across North America.

The series, produced by Toronto-based John Simpson Prods., already airs in Australia and Holland, and will launch on Logo in January.
