Louis C.K. shoots pilot for FX

One of several projects the network is quietly working on

Comedian Louis C.K. has filmed a low-budget comedy pilot for FX.

The project, described as autobiographical, is a mix of standup and narrative.

In June, C.K. taped standup material for the pilot at New York's Comedy Cellar.

The C.K. project is one of a couple of pilots FX has quietly shot in the past few months along with "The League."

The cable network also recently ordered the animated comedy series "Archer."

C.K., nominated for an Emmy for writing his Comedy Central special "Chewed Up," recently landed a multiepisode arc on NBC's comedy "Parks & Recreation."
