Lowe upped to vp prod'n at Universal
EmptyKristin Lowe has been promoted to vp production at Universal Pictures.
Lowe joined Universal Pictures in 2004 as director of development. She came from Warner Bros. Pictures, where she was director of development. She began her stint at Warners in 2002 as a creative executive. Before that, Lowe held posts at MGM and Michael Bay Films.
"Kristin is a valued member of our team, and she has made significant contributions to the success of the movies she's been involved with," said Donna Langley, president of production at Universal Pictures. "I am glad to acknowledge her accomplishments with this new title and look forward to her continued influence at Universal Pictures."
Lowe oversaw day-to-day production activities on such films as "Inside Man," "The Break-Up" and "You, Me and Dupree." Upcoming movies she oversaw include "Children of Men," "The Kingdom" and "Breach."
