M4e Buys TV Loonland Back Catalog

Shows from the insolvent kidvidder include 'Cramp Twins,' 'Babar.'

CANNES – German group m4e has bought the back catalog of insolvent kids TV producer TV Loonland, snatching up rights to animated series such as The Cramp Twins, Connie The Cow and Babar.

The TV Loonland catalog includes more than 1,400 TV episodes and 22 feature and short films. TV Loonland filed for bankruptcy protection last year.
