'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Feuls Baby Naming Trend

Maci and Bentley -- the name of the reality star's son -- are the biggest gainers on the Social Security Administration's most popular baby names list of 2010.

Reality television is making its mark on generations to come as more and more children are being named after people on nonscripted series.

The fastest-rising names in the U.S. for both boys and girls were inspired by 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom star Maci Bookout. The girls' name Maci jumped from No. 655 in 2009 to No. 232 last year, according to the Social Security Administration, and Bentley, the name of Bookout's son, rose 414 places to finish as the 101st most popular boys name of 2010.

Movies played a part in baby naming trends as well. Kellan, as in Twilight star Kellan Lutz, was the second fastest-growing boy's name while Tiana, the protagonist princess of Disney's The Princess and the Frog, was second only to Maci and Giuliana in girl name gainers. Knox, the name of one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children, saw the third-biggest increase in popularity among boy's names when it jumped 246 spots to land at No. 457.

Overall, the Twilight-inspired names Isabella and Jacob were the most popular baby names of 2010. Sophia, Emma, Olivia and Ava rounded out the Top 5 girl's names while Ethan, Michael, Jayden and William completed the Top 5 boy's names group.
