Madonna Debuts Wild "Medellín" Music Video With Maluma

Madonna released her new music video "Medellín" with Maluma on Wednesday.

The visual stars Madonna as her alter ego, Madame X, and the Colombian singer as her paramour.

Madonna unveiled the wild video for her new Maluma-assisted single, "Medellín," on Wednesday in a live international event hosted by MTV.

The cinematic clip opens with Madonna-as-Madame X kneeling before an altar, gently lit by a gold and blue stained glass window. "Dear God, how could I trust anyone after years of disappointment and betrayal?" she whispers in urgent prayer. "How could I not want to run away again and again? Escape. I will never be what society expects me to be."

As the track kicks in with its beat of "1-2-cha-cha-cha," Madonna’s multifaceted alter ego assumes the identity of a cha-cha instructor, leading a class of dancers before singling out Maluma for some sultry one-on-one instruction.

"Ven conmigo, let’s take a trip / Ven conmigo, I’ll be so good for you," she intones on the track’s bilingual chorus, seducing the Colombian star with a riding crop and even licking his toes at one point.

The video reaches its climax at the stars' raucous wedding celebration, with Madonna donning a white gown, veiled cowboy hat and futuristic eye patch to dance on the table, before riding off into the countryside on horseback with Maluma.

Madame X is slated for release June 14 via Interscope Records.
