Madonna Speaks Out About IVF Amid Dolce & Gabbana Controversy
"Think before you speak," she wrote on Instagram.
Madonna is chiming in on the Dolce & Gabbana controversy.
Following in the footsteps of Elton John and Ryan Murphy, the Queen of Pop is speaking out against designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's insensitive comments about same-sex adoption and IVF pregnancies.
Madge took to Instagram Wednesday to post a photo of herself when she posed for the luxury label's fall 2010 campaign, which shows her lying on a bed with a baby in her arms.
"All babies contain a soul however they come to this earth and their families. There is nothing synthetic about a soul!! So how can we dismiss IVF and surrogacy? Every soul comes to us to teach us a lesson. God has his hand in everything even technology! We are arrogant to think Man does anything on his own. As above so below! Think before you speak.,,,,,,,,,,,#livingforlove," she captioned the image.

The designers tried to smooth over the situation in an interview with CNN on Wednesday, with Gabbana explaining that he does support IVF and that his business partner may have chosen "the wrong words" during their interview with Italian magazine Panorama. Dolce didn't say if he supported IVF, but simply stated, "I don't think today we need to support or not support. You think what you think."
During the conversation, Gabbana added, "We love gay couples. We love gay adoption. We love everything."
