Madonna Bares All on the 2016 Met Gala Red Carpet

The butt is back.

In appropriate rock fashion, Madonna arrived in a fierce Givenchy ensemble at Monday's Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Joining the Material Girl was her bare backside, which she showcased through the sheer fabric. This marks Madonna's bum's second appearance on the red carpet in the past year. At the 2015 Grammys — where she was also outfitted in Givenchy — she flaunted her rear for the cameras.

This year's theme celebrates the museum's Costume Institute exhibition "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology," which explores the intersection of haute couture and machine-made fashion.

Madge attended last year's fashion extravaganza in a caped Moschino gown designed by Jeremy Scott.

Madonna — who in March wrapped up her Rebel Heart Tour, which surpassed the $100 million mark — recently named social media star Pia Mia as fashion director of the Material Girl juniors label at Macy's.
