'Manchester by the Sea' Star Lucas Hedges Signs With CAA (Exclusive)
The Oscar nominee was previously with Paradigm.
Manchester by the Sea star Lucas Hedges has signed with CAA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. He was previously with Paradigm.
Since receiving a best supporting actor Oscar nomination for his performance as Casey Affleck’s nephew and ward in Kenneth Lonergan’s tearjerker, the young actor has remained busy. He’ll next be seen opposite Frances McDormand in Martin McDonagh’s dark dramedy Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and opposite Saoirse Ronan in the comedy Lady Bird, Greta Gerwig’s directorial debut. Both films are set to be released Nov. 10, by Fox Searchlight and A24, respectively.
Hedges will next star in Focus Features’ adaptation of Garrard Conley’s gay-conversion memoir Boy Erased, adapted and directed by Joel Edgerton, who will co-star.
In January, Hedges made his professional stage debut opposite The Get Down’s Justice Smithin in MCC Theater’s off-Broadway production of Anna Jordan’s play Yen, directed by Trip Cullman. His previous screen credits include Kill the Messenger, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Zero Theorem, Labor Day, Arthur Newman and Moonrise Kingdom.
Hedges continues to be repped by Anonymous Content and attorneys Marc Glick of Glick & Weintraub and Steve Breimer of Bloom Hergott.
