'Mannix' comes to DVD

Long-running cop show latest old-school TV release

The flood of old-school TV series making their way to DVD shows no signs of slowing.

The latest high-profile series to bow on disc is "Mannix," the long-running CBS detective series starring Mike Connors that ran from 1967-75. The series, which won four Golden Globes, launches June 3 on DVD from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

The Season 1 set is rich with extras, including the rarely seen pilot, a 1967 CBS fall promotional clip on the show and episode commentary tracks with Connors, series creator William Link and others.
