He's the latest instructor to join the MasterClass catalog.

Class is in session for Marc Jacobs.

The designer is the newest addition to the team of MasterClass instructors, joining Christina Aguilera, Annie Leibovitz, Stephen Curry and Jane Goodall — among (many) other A-listers — who educate students in their respective areas of expertise via digital lessons.

Jacobs will teach a 15-part course in fashion design in which he will discuss inspiration, branding and the secrets behind some of his most elaborate runway productions. Sketches, samples and case studies of his garments will be used to illustrate his lessons, and the program also comes with a downloadable class workbook with recaps and assignments.

The 54-year-old is a graduate of The New School's Parsons School of Design with experience at Perry Ellis, Louis Vuitton and, of course, his own eponymous label, so students will truly be learning from the best.

"I'll be discussing things that I wish I knew starting out," Jacobs says in the course's trailer. "The heart of my class is sharing the technical process. Once in a while it's a fabric that inspires a dress, and other times it's the dress we want to make that inspires the fabric."

Fashion stalwart Diane von Furstenberg also has a course on MasterClass; however, hers is focused more specifically on building a fashion brand.

Like all MasterClass courses, Jacobs' class will cost $90. Pre-enrollment is now open.
